Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
What you’ll do
Diagnose and inspect guest concerns per repair order notes
Communicate with guests and team leads to determine the nature of mechanical problems through all means (inspections, test drives, advisor or customer statements)
Perform any/all needed repairs and work as outlined on repair orders from team leads with efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with service and parts teams to understand needs and provide expert service and advice for guests and dealership vehicles
Take initiative to work with service/shop teammates and manufacturer to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Maintain accurate records of all services performed
Keep up-to-date with the latest mechanical techniques through ongoing training and professional development
Provide excellent customer service to dealership teammates and guests
Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
What you’ll need
Obtain and/or maintain ASE Certification
High school diploma, GED or vocational training OR job-related course work completed
Teamwork approach and can-do attitude
Your own repair tools
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment with multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to interpret installation instructions, diagrams and schematics to ensure accuracy
Strong technical skills and a desire to learn
Communication skills and a professional demeanor
Sense of humor and motivation to learn and succeed with a team
