The Quality Engineer is responsible for daily activities related to non-conforming material investigation and control, calibration, and corrective/preventive actions. Facilitates MRB activity including investigation and resolution; provides reporting. Supports New Product Introduction by ensuring First Article requirements are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement control processes and programs, ensuring critical to quality characteristics are defined and implemented. Support New Product Introduction. Develop quality plans and documentation, including statistically valid sampling methods. Ensure proper documentation and records for inspection and quality activities. Develop inspection and testing methods; interpret evaluation requirements. Provide training to ensure quality requirements are understood. Coordinate with management, customers, and suppliers on quality activities. Support qualification requirements, including FAI/LAI, PPAP, and related documentation. Oversee disposition of non-conforming material, ensuring root cause analysis is completed. Verify inventory alignment for MRB products and finished goods. Issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests for non-conforming materials. Support continuous improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma, and RCA tools. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

BS in Engineering or Technology, preferred in Metallurgy or Materials Science (or equivalent experience). Aerospace industry experience preferred. Familiarity with ISO 9000 and AS9100 standards. Nadcap Special Processes experience preferred. Knowledge of statistical techniques, SPC, FAI, PPAP. Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving. CMM experience. ASQ CQA or CQE certification preferred; project management experience a plus.
