Job Objective
Provide administrative and logistics support to NSWCEN MEDICAL/SPORT MEDICINE and MENTAL HEALTH for BUD/s students, instructor staff and support staff.
Responsibilities
Provide professional, administrative, or technical services in support of medicals initiatives and assigned missions, including Mental Health and Sports Medicine, to achieve responsive workloads. Maintain inventory control and replenishment of NSWCEN medical office materials. Provide logistic support in requesting and processing stock issues. Review stock limits to determine adjustment levels. Daily monitor high-volume critical spares to ensure adequate stock quantities, especially during Hell Week and Tour. Conduct material location audits, correct location discrepancies through data input, relocate and consolidate stock material as required. Create, modify, and update data records to indicate receipt, issue, and inventory adjustment using an automated system. Communicate unresolved database discrepancies with Senior Medical Advisor and Deputy Senior Medical Officer. Input customer material requirements. Work with N4 Supply and N7 Budget to input final issue status to update computer-based inventories. Enter purchase requests into BIZFLOW, POWERAPPS, and AMERISOURCE to be vetted and approved by Government official.
Qualifications
Education & Certification
High school education required Bachelor degree preferred Valid Driver's License Required Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance Experience Required
2 Years of experience in Logistics Support Technology: Working knowledge of basic computer programs, including Microsoft applications, email, NMCI, and phone/voicemail operation Vehicles: Ability to operate government vehicles; driving is incidental to duties and not primary
