Metric is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager on behalf of a retained client, a long-standing general contractor specializing in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure across the United States. The contractor is expanding rapidly and seeks experienced leadership to support key projects in the Austin area. Base pay
Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Location and Recruiting
Location: Austin, TX About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will lead major water, wastewater, and advanced water treatment plant construction projects for municipal and industrial clients, including those in the advanced technology sector. Projects may be delivered via CM-at-Risk, Design-Build, or traditional Design-Bid-Build methods. Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning, staffing, and execution across field teams and project managers Establish and uphold project objectives, policies, and performance standards Liaise with clients and design teams to facilitate preconstruction and construction activities Oversee construction progress to ensure schedule and budget adherence Represent the company in project meetings and strategic discussions Manage financial aspects of contracts and maintain strong client relationships Support procurement, change management, cost forecasting, and scheduling Promote and enforce health and safety standards across all project activities Provide leadership and technical guidance to engineers and superintendents Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the Regional Director Qualifications
