As a Private Wealth Business Development Officer (BDO), you will be responsible for creating new business with high net worth individuals, family offices, endowments and foundations. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Investment and Wealth Specialists and other sales professionals to execute business development strategies and lead promotional events and seminars with existing clients, prospects and intermediaries. Details on work arrangement (on-site vs. remote) will be discussed at the time of your interview. How You\'ll Succeed

Contribute to growth of new revenues by acquiring new clients with sophisticated financial needs, establishing a high and positive market profile. Manage select client relationships to maximize retention and align with individual investment objectives and organizational investment policies and strategies. Partner with Relationship Managers, Investment and Wealth Specialists and other sales professionals to deliver against national sales strategies. Develop personal referral networks (attorneys, accountants, bankers) to build a pipeline of business prospects. Develop relationships and opportunities with existing channel relationships. Identify areas to build strategic relationships and facilitate forums such as promotional events, seminars and meetings to grow CIBC\'s presence in wealth management. Establish and maintain effective partnerships and teamwork to ensure professional, seamless and timely service delivery. Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA, CFP, CFA, JD, CTFA, CPA 10+ years of experience in wealth management or a closely related field Extensive knowledge of investment strategy, trust administration and wealth management solutions Dynamic sales professional with a proven track record in business development and relationship management Proven ability to effectively raise assets Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills in both one-on-one and group settings Proven ability to market and present to sophisticated clients Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for growth What You Need To Know

Job Location: TX-11 Greenway Plaza Employment Type: Regular Weekly Hours: 40 Expected End Date: 2026-01-01 Salary: The role has an expected salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 for the Houston, TX market based on experience and location.
