Senior Business Analyst, Supply Chain – Entergy Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC Please note: Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment. This position is responsible for supporting risk and compliance activities within Procurement & Supply Chain, including policy governance, regulatory testing, and audit support. The role involves working cross-functionally with Legal, Internal Audit, Ethics & Compliance, Enterprise Risk, and Supply Chain partners to ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with audits and certifications, preparing compliance reports, maintaining policy documentation, and supporting third-party risk management activities as needed. The position requires strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate compliance requirements in clear, practical terms. Responsibilities
Ensure that the Team and its suppliers always put safety first. Actively promote strong safety behaviors, utilizing key tools such as Close Call / Good Catch in addition to proactive field and office visits to review standards and behaviors. Monitor and influence suppliers and other stakeholders to proactively identify safety concerns. Operate with high ethical standards and in full compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Support execution of supply chain risk and compliance activities, including SOX, FERC, and enterprise risk management activities (inquiries, testing, etc.). Assist with internal and external audits by gathering evidence, preparing responses, and tracking remediation through closure. Review and maintain Procurement & Supply Chain policies and procedures; support periodic updates and compliance reviews. Prepare compliance reports, certifications, and scorecards for leadership and stakeholders. Serve as a point of contact for compliance requests from Legal, Audit, Ethics & Compliance, and Enterprise Risk. Provide support for third-party risk management activities, including vendor screenings and remediation tracking. Develop and maintain standardized tools, templates, and checklists to improve consistency in compliance activities. Promote compliance awareness and reinforce standards of conduct with business units and suppliers. Facilitate ongoing compliance with Third Party Management requirements outlined in policies and standards. Summarize compliance and risk posture in executive-ready reports and presentations. Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and strengthen controls. Minimum Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience. MS or MBA preferred. Professional supply chain/procurement certification. Minimum Experience
Sr Analyst: Minimum 6 years related professional experience (preferred compliance, process or training experience); 10 years’ experience without a degree. Preferred: 3-4 years of related Supply Chain experience supporting Utility and Operations business functions. Six Sigma, CPA or other Supply Chain related experience preferred. Sr Lead Analyst: Minimum 8 years related professional experience (preferred compliance, process or training experience); 12 years’ experience without a degree. Preferred: 3-4 years of related Supply Chain experience supporting Utility and Operations business functions. Six Sigma, CPA or other Supply Chain related experience preferred. Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong business acumen with an understanding of supply chain policies, procedures, and processes. Decisive leadership ability with the skill to influence others to action and implement strategies and process improvements. Ability to build wide networks inside and outside the supply chain organization. Strategic and creative thinking with data-driven decision making and continuous improvement focus. Ability to communicate complex scenarios and data clearly and translate strategy into department plans. Strong customer service, collaboration, and relationship management skills with an orientation to deliver results. Proficiency in using analytical tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project) for project plans, supplier analysis, scorecards, etc. Data presentation and visualization proficiency; ability to troubleshoot, forecast and deliver business insights. Change management and continuous improvement methods application. Coaching/mentoring abilities within the Enablement organization and across Supply Chain. Ability to lead others through ambiguity and support smaller teams. Location & Other Details
