As a State Manager you are responsible for articulating Bacardi’s vision and roadmap in your designated state/region through development and execution of market strategy in order to achieve maximum performance with distributor management and relationship building with strategic accounts.

Responsibilities
Communicate and implement Bacardi’s vision into compelling and actionable strategies and plans in your state to your sales team, distributor partners, vendors and customers.
Cultivate a family environment that openly encourages thoughts, opinions, and actions within your sales team to deliver results against team goals, objectives, timeframes, and deliverables.
Engage with Regional Director and HR to hire and develop successful primos through engaging Let’s Talk discussions on specific primo performance feedback evaluating against sales forecasts and KPI goals and provide guidance in achieving career goals.
Identify top talent in your market and actively engage in recruitment recommendations and decisions.
Develop and strengthen distributor partnerships and effectively present 60‑day window business plans, solutions, and brand insights with senior‑level leadership evaluating distributor performance against aligned goals and KPIs.
Develop performance goals with distributors as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.
Collaborate cross‑functionally and leverage Bacardi resources to drive personal and organizational performance.
Take accountability and full ownership of your market’s P&L and produce effective forecasting to increase profitability and demonstrate a strong understanding of value chain economics.
Demonstrate strong financial acumen with an ownership of the marketplace pricing, structure, and strategy.
Analyze and understand the competition and stay informed on key competitor offerings that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related area.
3 – 5+ years field sales experience, preferably in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry.
Supervisory/management experience and a positive track record of developing winning teams.
Experience with Distributor Partners, Key Accounts, and Top Partners across both channels in the Central and West Texas, and Rio Grande Valley Region(s).
Experience driving Region‑Wide and State‑Wide initiatives within your geographic areas.
Experience collaborating with National Brand Teams to elevate national partnerships in the CTX/WTX/RGV Region.
Demonstrated track record of performance and delivery.
Founder’s mentality with exceptional financial acumen and decision making to achieve results.
Influential and excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
