A dynamic opportunity exists for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to make a meaningful impact in an Early Childhood and Elementary setting. This role, located in Dallas, TX, involves working closely with students to support their communication development as part of a dedicated educational team.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services in a school-based environment. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify and address student needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to enhance student learning. Actively participate in IEP meetings and team discussions.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain one before starting. ASHA certification (CCC) preferred, though candidates without it are encouraged to apply. Experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Ability to work onsite throughout the school year.
Location: Dallas, Texas engaging with students in an elementary school environment.
