Job Summary and Qualifications
Registered nurses coordinate patient care, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and provide physical and psychological support to patients and families. Responsibilities include assessments, developing care plans, medication administration, documentation, education, equipment maintenance, and communication of patient needs. In this role, you will: Administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs. Manage respiratory and ventilator needs. Coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients. Document and communicate patient conditions using electronic systems. Assist with discharge planning in collaboration with healthcare team members. Qualifications required include RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state, BLS certification, and preferably, a Bachelor’s degree. ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months if not already certified, with ICU experience preferred.
