This role offers the opportunity to deliver holistic primary care to patients in a MinuteClinic setting with support, collaboration and a team-based approach.
Responsibilities
Provide primary and family-based evidenced-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. Open/close the clinic, manage inventory, patient follow up, verify insurance and collect payments, and maintain a clean clinical environment. Schedule management, patient appointments, and routine examinations to promote positive health outcomes. Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care. Encourage patient engagement in their own healthcare and well-being through health screenings, behavioral health and wellness services, and chronic condition management.
Qualifications
Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing; Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with current National Board Certification and ability to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner; experience in Family Medicine or primary care preferred. Order and administer immunizations and injections, including vaccines (e.g., COVID-19, influenza, other listed vaccines), with appropriate vaccine counseling. DOT certification within 30 days of employment (where required by market). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to perform CPR and use an AED. Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities including Spanish are a plus depending on market. Ability to pass a FIT test and comply with respiratory protection protocols when required.
Education
Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
Preferred Qualifications
EPIC experience (electronic medical records system) preferred.
Pay Range
The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is
$41.85 - $90.13
per hour (base pay). Actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors. Eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive programs in addition to base pay.
