Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. Provide routine examinations Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment Perform surgeries including routine, dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic Administer vaccinations Prescribe medication Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being Update client records Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in Texas Previous work experience as a veterinarian Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms Problem-solving skills Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary Patience and a love for animals
