MRI Technologist II - FT, Days - Loan Repay
at Mercy Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Provides patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Role aligns with Mercy’s mission and service standards. Responsibilities
Perform specialized MRI procedures on patients to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Provide patient care essential to MRI procedures. Adhere to MR safety principles and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program with completed clinical hours. Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of a Bachelor degree program. Licensure/Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI) – current; BLS (Basic Life Support). Other Skills & Knowledge: IV insertion; technical skill in medical scanning; understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and 3-D knowledge. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: capable of manipulating equipment, lifting/moving patients; continual standing or walking; adapt to stressful situations. Preferred Education: Bachelor degree. Schedule & Locations
Primary Location: Mercy Imaging Services - Richmond Heights, 6520 Clayton Road Float Locations: Mercy Imaging Services, 13303 Tesson Ferry; Mercy Imaging Services Creve Coeur, 11615 Olive Blvd Shift Options: 4-10’s or 5-8’s with Saturday rotation (7a-1p); time off during the week when Saturday is worked.
