Primary Location:
Mercy Imaging Services - Richmond Heights at 6520 Clayton Road
Float Locations:
Mercy Imaging Services at 13303 Tesson Ferry and Mercy Imaging Services Creve Coeur at 11615 Olive Blvd
Shift Schedule Options:
4-10's or 5-8's to include a Saturday rotation, which is typically every 3rd to 4th Saturday from 7a-1p. Will receive time off during the week when working Saturday.
Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Responsibilities Perform specialized MRI procedures and provide patient care essential to these procedures in a 24x7 hospital environment. Ensure MR safety compliance and support Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience:
1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
Licensure/Certifications:
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI) working in the area. BLS Basic Life Support
Other Skills & Knowledge:
IV Insertion
Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:
Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
Continual standing or walking.
Adapt to stressful situations.
Equipment Used:
Should be proficient in the use of MRI Scanners, Power Injectors, workstations and Computers.

Bachelor degree
