Description
Provide quality care during US scans, diagnostic, and interventional radiology procedures.
Communicate patient needs and responses effectively.
Ensure complete and accurate documentation of patient care; operate imaging and specialty equipment properly.
Stay informed about medical device uses and prepare patients for procedures.
Verify and maintain adequate supplies and emergency inventory.
Deliver quality patient care, assist with education, and support research activities.
Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology; provide complex technical care as needed.
Assist in planning and performing multiple diagnostic procedures in sequence.
Serve as a resource for students and junior staff; perform related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program with at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in US.
RDMS or ARRT certification; advanced certification as a Registered Vascular Tech preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association standards.
