Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Physician | Charlotte, NC
Novant Health Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program seeks a cellular therapy physician in Charlotte, NC.
Opportunity Highlights
FACT accredited program performing allogeneic and autologous transplantation and CART cell therapy.
Experience in hematopoietic cell transplantation and CART cell therapy required.
Position suited for physician with subspecialist interest in leukemia and myelodysplasia.
Program has seven physician providers and 12 advanced practice providers (APPs) across Charlotte and Winston–Salem.
Rounding and call schedule 1:4 with APPs taking first call.
Excellent support from pathology, blood bank, radiology, ICU and other specialist services; each site operates independently.
Novant Health growth over past 5 years with state‑of‑the‑art Cancer Institute building in uptown Charlotte; outpatient Cellular Therapy and Apheresis space with 12 HEPA filtered patient rooms.
Similar outpatient unit approved for Winston–Salem; onsite Stem Cell Lab under construction complete December 2025.
Candidate Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
New graduates or 1–2 years post–fellowship experience considered.

Patient population 18+; perform allogeneic and autologous transplantation and CART cell therapy.
