Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (pre-teen through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary. Responsibilities
Performs clinical MRI and MR Angiography testing, including general studies, breast studies, and the computer interactions related with these studies. Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on the patient population (pre-teen through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience. Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience required. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. ARRT MRI registration required within one year. Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision and function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be familiar with age-specific criteria. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers (or equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Proactively maintains and renews ARRT, state license, BLS, PPD, respirator fit test, and POC training. ACLS preferred. Physical requirements: ability to perform job functions standing, sitting, walking; lift up to 50 lbs, transfer patients with assistance as needed, and able to work in a latex-safe environment. Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required. Work Details
