Job Description
Utilize all MRI resources to perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics) for interpretation by a physician. Other duties as deemed necessary. Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT). Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA). Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision. Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be familiar with age specific criteria. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Additional Job Description: Education: Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Work Experience: 1+ year of Radiologic experience. Must be registered with ARRT or ARMRIT, and licensed by SCRQSA. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
