The Health Program Specialist I (HPS I) is a highly skilled program consultant in project management related to program policy research, development, implementation, and evaluation for the Medi-Cal Dental Program, focusing on the Dental Managed Care (DMC) delivery system and the 1915(b) Waiver STCs. Track and analyze frequent policy changes across DHCS programs with policies and procedures related to the 1915(b) Waiver STCs and applicable federal authorities. Demonstrate knowledge of the Medi-Cal program and other DHCS programs, and of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing Medi-Cal. Coordinate projects and contribute to broad policy development with multi-department, immediate, and long-range impacts requiring substantial expertise. Minimum Requirements
