Job Summary and Responsibilities

Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift for Cardiac patients
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging
Unit also cares for med surg telemetry patients. This is Nursing Surgical Floor (not OR):
Specializes in abdominal surgery including Bariatrics
How many beds 30
RN to Patient ratio 1:5
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Degree in Nursing from an accredited program college, or university
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire.
At least one (1) year of RN experience
Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
