Psychologist - Remote

This role involves performing Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) for veterans filing disability claims related to mental health conditions such as PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety through the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) as part of the Compensation and Pension Program. The examinations include mental health assessments and medical opinions but do not involve providing treatment. Key Responsibilities
Conduct outpatient assessments and evaluations Manage psychological and neuropsychological testing requests Participate in peer consultations, staff meetings, and training sessions; document determinations according to VA guidelines; perform other duties as assigned Perform non-MD clinical reviews, including requests for testing Qualifications
Licensed doctoral level Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with current, unrestricted license Minimum 2 years of post-licensure experience Proficient in Windows OS, Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel Access to a secure workspace and high-speed internet at home Graduated from an APA-accredited doctoral program Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with C&P exams (training provided) Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) Experience in managed care, peer reviews, working with commercial/Medicaid/Medicare lines, CPT and HCPCS coding, and higher levels of clinical care Experience with children, adolescents, substance abuse, and evidence-based treatments Advanced computer skills, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Pay: $55/hr.
