MRG Exams . The Audiologist will perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The Veteran’s claim is reviewed with medical records uploaded in a computer portal during the appointment. The Audiologist will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test and will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. This forms the medical evidence that allows the VA to decide the veteran’s benefits. The Audiologist will NOT prescribe any medical treatments or devices. This is an IN-PERSON position with a schedule of Part-Time, 3 days/week, 8:30am-4:30pm. The role involves reviewing 3-6 Veterans per day on average. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales. Responsibilities
Review veteran records in the portal prior to appointments and conduct the required assessments. Perform Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test during appointments. Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal. Assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average. Work in-person with the stated schedule; do not prescribe medical treatments or devices. Qualifications
Au.D and graduated from an ASHA Accredited program. Holds a current license as an Audiologist. Meets the VA credentialing requirements. Benefits
