Education:

Two (2) years of college.

Experience / Qualifications:

Current State of Florida License. Current ARRT, CT Registry Required or obtained within 6 months of hire date. American Heart Association BLS, for Healthcare Provider. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, and extremities.

Demonstrates knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and image manipulation for image enhancement. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality CT images for interpretation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform CPR, and patient assessment.

Threshold Requirements:

These requirements are mandatory and must be completed annually, including Joint Commission education, in-service and health requirements, TB/PPD surveillance, and maintenance of professional licenses and certifications.
