We are seeking a
Board-Certified Pathologist Physician
to join the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service in Milwaukee, WI. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a state-of-the-art facility, serving Veterans with the highest standards of Anatomic Pathology services. Employment Type:
Contract (12 Months) Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or overtime) Responsibilities
Provide a full range of Pathology and Laboratory services consistent with national standards set by the American Board of Pathology (ABPATH). Participate in
Surgical Pathology
and ensure compliance with VHA Pathology policies. Meet turnaround time requirements for surgical pathology and related cases. Maintain clinical privileges and adhere to credentialing requirements at Milwaukee VAMC. Document patient care directly in electronic medical records using
VISTA
and
CPRS
systems. Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology
(American Board of Pathology). Active, full, and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia. Minimum
5 years of recent experience
in Anatomic Pathology (within the last 3 years). Proficiency in written and spoken English. Computer literacy with the ability to use EMR systems. Must complete all required licensure, credentials, and background investigations prior to start.
