Support the team by managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations. Follow highest professional and ethical standards and comply with Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Learn and apply CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program requirements and expand duties as you satisfy registration, licensing and certification requirements per your State’s Board of Pharmacy. Engage with patients and customers to understand needs and provide helpful, compassionate service. Qualifications
Required Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age Licensure requirements vary by state Attention and focus; ability to concentrate on tasks over time Customer service orientation and ability to help people in a friendly manner Communication skills: verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues; active listening Mathematical reasoning to solve problems (e.g., calculating day’s supply of a prescription) Problem resolution: recognize and respond to issues appropriately Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service settings Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician PTCB National Certification Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Anticipated Weekly Hours 20 Time Type Part time Pay Range $16.24 - $27.00 per hour This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade. Actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors. Physical Demands
Remaining upright for sustained periods Moving about on foot between work areas Fine motor tasks such as typing or handling small parts Extending hands and arms, bending and stooping as needed Communicating clearly and perceiving sounds during conversations Visual acuity for reading and computer work Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs Benefits
