Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
to join their inpatient Spine Surgery team of 4 surgeons and 6 APPs. This position manages patients pre-and post-spine surgery both in the office, peri-operatively in the hospital, including first-assisting in the OR. Responsibilities
Office hours: M-F; First assisting in the OR; night and weekend call Contribute to patient care for spine surgery pre-, peri-, and post-operatively, including first-assisting in the operating room Qualifications
For NPs, Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program required. For PAs, Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant required. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required. NPs must hold Acute Care NP certification. Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required. DEA and CDS eligible. Additional Information
