is a 182-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Oakland Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, FL. FLBHC features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center. The

Outpatient Therapist

works with individuals to help them overcome psychological/emotional issues as well as substance abuse issues. The PHP/IOP Therapist will demonstrate the ability to perform group, individual and family therapy. They will also perform psychosocial assessment and formulate treatment plans based on individuals needs. The therapist will be able to recognize crisis situations and provide interventions. Ability to work collaboratively with peers, administrators, physicians, and allied staff is a must. Education Qualifications Master’s Degree from accredited school in Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling. LMHC or LCSW in Florida required. Experience One (1) year of experience working in a Behavioral Health Center or psychiatric counseling setting with adults and/or children.
