Job Summary Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process and the benchmark standards of the National Enterostomal Therapy Nursing Association.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
California RN License
BLS
Wound and Ostomy experience within the past 6 months in an acute hospital
Certification in Wound Care and Management or Certification in Ostomy Care and Management from a nationally recognized program upon hire. Must acquire both certifications within 6 months of being hired/transferred into the position. CETN/CWOCN preferred
Tenet complies with federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If offered this position and vaccination is required by law, you will need to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approved religious or medical exemption prior to start. If you receive an exemption, you will submit to regular testing as applicable by law.
