Our organization is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. This is a full-time position. We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered care to mothers and their newborns throughout the journey of childbirth. Location: Santa Rosa, California. Shifts: Multiple shifts (Days/Nights/FT/PT/PRN) available. Multiple positions available. Compensation: 145-185K+ with signing bonus and paid relocation. Responsibilities
Conducting patient assessments, monitoring fetal heart tones, and evaluating maternal well-being. Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans. Administering medications, managing IV fluids, and operating medical equipment as prescribed. Providing hands-on support and emotional encouragement to patients and their families during labor and delivery. Assisting physicians with procedures and interventions. Educating patients and their families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care. Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including all medical interventions and patient responses. Acting as a patient advocate to ensure safety and comfort at all times. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff, to ensure coordinated and seamless care. Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience, preferably within a labor and delivery or obstetrics unit. Licensure/Certifications: Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse License upon hire. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics. What We Offer
