Labor and Delivery Nurse at Gallin Associates in Santa Rosa, California. This is a full-time position with multiple shifts (days/nights/FT/PT/PRN). Multiple positions available. Salary range: $145,000 - $185,000 with signing bonus plus paid relocation. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to patients from admission through the postpartum period. Conduct patient assessments, monitor fetal heart tones, and evaluate maternal well-being. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Administer medications, manage IV fluids, and operate medical equipment as prescribed. Provide hands-on support and emotional encouragement to patients and their families during labor and delivery. Assist physicians with procedures and interventions. Educate patients and their families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including all medical interventions and patient responses. Act as a patient advocate to ensure safety and comfort at all times. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and pediatric staff, to ensure coordinated and seamless care. Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience, preferably within a labor and delivery or obstetrics unit. Licensure/Certifications: Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse License upon hire. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics. What We Offer
