The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services is responsible for assisting the Administrative Director of Emergency Services with all departmental functions in support of the hospital Mission, Vision and facility goals, and performance improvement programs. You will identify the cost-effective systems needed to support the business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. You will establish effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. You will identify and remedy continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. You will work with Senior Management in meeting facility goals. The Manager of Emergency Services acts as a coordinator of the Chest Pain Center, with a focus on efficient care of ACS patients. As a member of the Medical City McKinney team, the Manager makes a significant contribution to the public’s perception of the hospital. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. MSN degree preferred Licensure/Certifications: Current RN licensure by the state of Texas or from a Compact State. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS and PALS provider. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred. Experience: 2 years of recent management or quality management experience in an acute care facility required. Cardiovascular clinical experience preferred. Benefits
