Days (United States of America) Responsibilities
The CT/Diagnostic Technologist is responsible for performing CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include providing safe, high-quality patient care, communicating effectively with patients of all ages, and maintaining competence in required radiologic procedures. Qualifications
ARRT (R) certified. Advanced ARRT (CT) registry required within one year of hire date, or employment will be terminated. AHA (American Heart Association) CPR Certification provided through Cape Fear Valley Training & Development. Minimum 2 years of experience preferred. New graduates may apply if ARRT registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered by ARRT in Radiography within twelve months of hire date. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. Demonstrates good patient care. Knowledge of growth and development and understanding of treatment needs for all age groups. Provides care based on the patient’s developmental needs. Experienced in and able to interact with patients of all ages including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Must be able to communicate orally. Must have dexterity and visual acuity. Must have mobility to assume awkward positions and to respond to emergencies. Able to stand and walk for long periods. Must be able to bend and lift. Position may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials. Licenses and Certifications
