Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) position in Yakima, Washington. 13-week contract in a modern GI/Endoscopy Lab with clinical support for GI procedures. Responsibilities
Provide clinical support for up to 15 GI procedures daily, plus CT and MRI cases Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient safety throughout procedures Admit and recover patients in the GI unit Start IVs and conduct thorough patient assessments Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physicians, radiologists, and fellow RNs Participate in scheduled call and weekend rotations Float to Ridgeview Surgery Center as needed Utilize Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and EPOC POC testing devices Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington state preferred) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of endoscopy nursing or GI clinical experience Proficient in moderate sedation administration (Versed, Fentanyl, Benadryl) Skilled in admitting, recovering, and starting IVs independently EPIC EMR experience preferred Ability to work independently as the sole sedation RN while on call First-time travel nurses not accepted Benefits
