Location: North Hollywood, CA 91602 (Los Angeles area) Assignment Length: 16 weeks Start Date: November 3, 2025 End Date: February 23, 2026 Shift: Day shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 Shift Duration: 8 hours No call or weekend shifts required Free underground parking available Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050-$2200 Endoscopy RN Qualifications
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy or GI Lab RN experience Experience with Epic EMR charting system Proficient in conscious sedation, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia identification Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and side effects Skilled in assisting physicians with endoscopy procedures and maintaining aseptic technique First-time travel nurses welcome Two professional RN references from the past year Key Responsibilities for Endoscopy Registered Nurse
Deliver direct patient care for endoscopic procedures, including screening colonoscopies, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and EGD with BRAVO pH capsule Rotate through pre-op, PACU, and intra-op areas as needed in the GI Lab Administer and monitor conscious sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias during procedures Assist physicians during GI procedures, utilizing specialized equipment such as the Argon Plasma Coagulator Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR Handle and label specimens according to healthcare protocols Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions Demonstrate self-motivation and a commitment to high-quality patient care Apply now
