High School Diploma or GED Six months Experience in the Primary Imaging Modality Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
Certification from one of the following credentialing organizations: ARRT, ARDMS, RVT-VT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT Registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) through the Texas Medical Board, if applicable Registry in a second modality must be completed within 18 months of hire or transfer date American Heart Association BLS certification Job Summary:
The Multi-modality Technologist I provides quality imaging and patient care within two (2) medical imaging modalities. Performs imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by licensed providers. The role requires working a minimum of 40% of the time in a second modality, with shifts supporting different UTMB campuses.
