Guthrie Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to assist in diabetes management and general endocrine care of our patients in the outpatient practice setting of Guthrie Binghamton Riverside Drive-Endocrinology. As a Guthrie Nurse Practitioner, you play an important role in caring for our patients while acting as a patient advocate and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers, as well as Guthrie Specialists throughout the strong referral Network. Responsibilities Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients throughout the continuum of care. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with various endocrine disorders including diabetes and thyroid conditions. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, considering patients' unique needs and preferences. Performing regular follow-ups to assess treatment effectiveness and adjusting plans as needed. Educating patients on diabetes self-management, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of adhering to prescribed treatment plans. Providing clear and concise information on endocrine conditions, and ensuring patients have a thorough understanding of their health and treatment options. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Qualifications Current license in New York State. Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program. Experienced or newly graduated candidates are equally welcome to apply. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Comprehensive Compensation And Benefits Competitive Salary range of $115,000-$126,000 depending on experience. Full benefits including medical, dental and disability insurance.
