Role Overview
We are seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead the development and oversight of detailed project timelines for large-scale vertical construction projects in the hundred-million to multi-billion dollar range. This role plays a critical part in both active project execution and proposal development, offering strategic insights into scheduling trends, risks, and performance metrics for operational and executive teams.
The Scheduling Manager will manage internal schedules and evaluate those submitted by external partners. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of vertical construction methods, site logistics, materials, equipment, labor planning, and sequencing. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6.
Lead planning sessions and scheduling workshops with project stakeholders.
Collaborate with project teams to establish and approve baseline schedules.
Update schedules with current data and assess impacts to critical paths.
Forecast performance based on progress and productivity metrics.
Identify and communicate scheduling risks and mitigation strategies.
Create contingency plans and alternative scheduling scenarios.
Maintain documentation to support dispute avoidance and resolution.
Conduct schedule audits and peer reviews.
Integrate labor and cost tracking into schedule frameworks.
Promote continuous improvement in scheduling practices.
Provide training and mentorship on scheduling tools and techniques.
Additional Expectations
Champion safety and model safe practices on-site.
Maintain consistent attendance and meet project deadlines.
Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners.
Thrive in a collaborative, matrix-style organizational structure.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in scheduling or a related construction field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Expertise in vertical construction logistics, sequencing, materials, and crew planning.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including cost and resource loading.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret complex project documentation and identify trends.
Preferred:
On-site experience in vertical construction (role is primarily field-based).
Experience with Earned Value Management EVM or productivity analysis.
Ability to anticipate project performance and proactively address scheduling risks.
Background in industrial or high-rise construction environments.
