Quality Engineer

QUALITY ENGINEER ROSCOMMON, MICHIGAN - ROSCOMMON PLANT As a member of the Quality team, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for supplier, customer and internal concerns, IATF16949, APQP, PPAP's and continuous improvement. The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to: Customer quality contact Supplier quality contact 8D problem solving process. IATF16949 internal auditing and maintenance of quality systems. Address production floor issues as requested. Special projects as assigned by the Quality Manager. PPAP's and all associated documentation. Participate in the APQP process as assigned. Carries out assigned functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manual. Recommend, plan, and participate in continuous improvement activities throughout the organization. Training in quality subjects as assigned. Follow systems for IATF16949 and ISO14001 Your Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering preferred. Minimum three years of Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a Quality Engineering role. Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment. Must be proficient in the use of MS Office programs. Bonus If You Have: Certified IATF Lead Auditor and SAP knowledge.
