We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality service and support to customers across the region, with periodic travel to other states to cover PTO and business needs. Key Responsibilities
Install, support, and maintain Vision RT product range Perform site surveys to ensure installation requirements meet Vision RT processes Provide reactive breakdown support (remote and on-site) Provide planned maintenance/upgrade support (remote and on-site) Plan and perform installations following Vision RT installation processes Liaise with customers and installers Travel to different hospitals across the region with occasional responsibilities in other parts of the state and periodic travel to other states for PTO coverage Maintain strong IT capability: supporting Microsoft environments, device networking, and troubleshooting Exhibit excellent customer-facing and technical problem-solving skills Interface effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels Demonstrate a proactive, customer-focused attitude with a drive for excellence in satisfaction Candidates with electromechanical and IT skills, ideally from medical or IT industry Ability to drill and mount mechanical brackets in raised ceilings and read technical/architects drawings A+/Microsoft certifications are a plus; SQL knowledge preferred; Medical Imaging or Radiotherapy experience beneficial Qualifications
Strong field service background with electromechanical and IT skills Experience in medical devices or radiotherapy environments preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel up to 80%; able to work evenings/weekends as required Region-based (Indianapolis, IN area or near a major airport in Indiana/West Michigan) Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range is expected to be $70,000 to $90,000 per year, with opportunities for overtime and travel pay. Final pay and additional compensation (bonus or discretionary awards) depend on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Benefits include medical, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and other plans as offered.
