Overview
Sr. Electronics Engineer specializing in Power Electronics Test & Validation to join our client’s dynamic R&D team in Newark, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage digital and analog circuit design, testing, and validation, with hands-on experience using advanced lab instrumentation. This role involves validating and troubleshooting electronics systems used in cutting-edge automotive applications. Responsibilities
Review and analyze schematics, PCB designs, and perform circuit simulations and calculations. Conduct verification and validation testing of high-quality electronic hardware used in automotive systems. Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of low-voltage electronic systems using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal analyzers. Identify and analyze root causes in electronics systems and independently drive R&D corrective actions. Document test results, write technical reports, and clearly communicate findings and recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, reliability, and performance standards are met. Must-Have Qualifications
Strong understanding of low-voltage digital and analog circuits. 3+ years of hands-on experience testing and verifying low-voltage electronics systems using lab equipment (oscilloscope, network analyzers, signal analyzers, etc.). 3+ years of experience in technical documentation and clear communication of complex electronic concepts. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. 3+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing. Solid understanding of digital and analog circuit fundamentals. Knowledge of automotive and industrial electronics requirements and standards. Employment type
