Electronics Engineer – Actalent
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer with strong expertise in low‑voltage digital and analog circuit design and testing. The role focuses on verification and validation of high‑quality automotive electronics hardware. Ideal candidates possess hands‑on troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of circuit fundamentals, and the ability to work independently on root‑cause analysis and R&D initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Review schematics, PCB layouts, and perform calculations and simulations of electronic circuits
Conduct verification and validation (V&V) tests on automotive‑grade electronics hardware
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in low‑voltage electronics systems using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal analyzers
Analyze root causes of system failures and drive independent R&D efforts to improve performance and reliability
Document findings and communicate technical concepts clearly through reports and presentations
Required Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
3+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing
Strong understanding of low‑voltage digital and analog circuit fundamentals
Proficiency with lab equipment and hands‑on testing methodologies
Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with automotive and industrial electronics standards and requirements
Experience in data analysis, dashboard creation, or data pipeline development
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
