KinderHawk Field Services LLC (KinderHawk), a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Kinder Morgan, is a midstream natural gas company that provides gathering, treating and dehydration services in the Haynesville and Bossier Shale areas of Northwest Louisiana. KinderHawk owns and operates an extensive network of gathering, treating and dehydration facilities located in Bossier, Caddo, Webster, Bienville, De Soto, Red River and Sabine Parishes, Louisiana. The KinderHawk system has a capacity well in excess of two billion cubic feet of natural gas per day (2 Bcf/d) with 19 interconnections to major downstream pipelines.

Position

Position Description:

KinderHawk Field Services LLC (KinderHawk) seeks a qualified candidate to grow Kinder Morgan’s Northwest Louisiana gathering and gas treating business by developing and negotiating opportunities and projects. The role requires facilitating constant and necessary communication between customers and inter‑company departments. The position monitors the gathering system’s daily nominations, treating capacity setpoints, and pipeline activities to provide primary guidance to Gas Control, Scheduling, and Operations.

Primary Purpose Grow Kinder Morgan’s Northwest Louisiana gathering and gas treating business by developing and negotiating opportunities and projects.

Facilitate constant and necessary communication between customers and inter‑company departments.

Monitor the gathering system’s daily nominations, treating capacity setpoints, and pipeline activities to provide primary guidance to Gas Control, Scheduling, and Operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Generate prospects, lead negotiations, develop economic evaluations, creative problem solving, prepare management presentations, and present investment opportunities to senior management.

Develop and negotiate commercial terms for revenue generating agreements for treating facilities and gathering pipelines.

Identify and develop capital expansion opportunities (define scope, coordinate preparation of cost estimates, prepare economic analysis, etc.).

Develop and maintain close business relationships with existing or potential customers and other key industry representatives.

Work closely and regularly with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Financial Forecasting, Gas Supply/Marketing/Optimization, Business Development, Contract Administration and Scheduling.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Finance or Accounting

MBA a plus

Experience / Specific Knowledge A minimum of 5 years of diverse and progressively responsible industry related experience.

Ability to develop contractual framework for formal agreements.

General understanding of pipeline and processing operations including basic technical design, quality parameters, hydraulics and scheduling functions.

Competencies, Skills, And Abilities Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Excel, including economic modeling and data analysis.

Ability to analyze all aspects of a proposed commercial transaction (financial, contractual, legal, operational and marketing).

Self-motivated with the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Articulate, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Ability to work effectively with a multi‑disciplined team, manage multiple priorities, and follow work rules.

Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions Basic office environment with periodic travel, occasionally on short notice.

Hybrid work schedule.

Extended work hours may be required for deadlines or emergencies.

Routinely required to work independently.

Anticipated travel: 10–20%
