Summary Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) is looking to hire one

A&P Licensed Mechanic (or soon to be licensed) with avionics/aviation experience to join our team. The role involves working on, replacing, and maintaining In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems on aircraft for major airlines worldwide. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rates range from

$32.83 to $43.59

based on experience, including geographical differential. Starting rates increase with experience.

Responsibilities Job Summary

Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations on PAC IFE systems in compliance with FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA regulations, including troubleshooting, testing, removal, replacement, and modification of electronic assemblies and units.

Major Responsibilities

Aircraft/IFE Maintenance and Support

Conduct built-in and manual tests of IFE systems.

Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, or seat consoles to identify failures.

Identify repairs, replace defective modules or cabling.

Operate vehicles on airport property and around aircraft.

Operate airline communication equipment.

Communicate effectively with customers.

Administrative/Documentation

Document tests and repairs using computer and barcode systems.

Manage parts and inventory.

Assist in tracking spare parts inventory.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

HS diploma or GED.

Airframe & Powerplant License or equivalent.

Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Valid driver's license.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and graveyard shifts.

Preferred but not required: 0-1 year mechanical/electrical technician experience, knowledge of electrical mechanics, 1+ years of IFE or avionics experience.

Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and endure various weather conditions.

Proficient in MS Office and excellent communication skills.
