Overview
Quality Analyst, Night Shift (10 PM - 6 AM) reports to Quality Lead and receives functional guidance from Quality supervision. They will provide functional support to Production, Maintenance, and R&D personnel in matters relating to product quality and food safety at the plant. Internal contacts include plant leadership team, supervisors and other personnel from Production, Warehouse, R&D, Logistics, Finance, and Human Resources. External contacts include corporate Category Quality, GQE, MET, Suppliers and Customers. This role involves working with multiple departments to maintain and improve quality systems and processes at the Kilbourn plant. Responsibilities
Perform required quantitative and qualitative product and ingredient analyses and maintain accurate reporting. Review, monitor, and take appropriate action regarding production processes to ensure conformance with critical factors, specifications, and plant and regulatory policies. Review and report on summary production data related to food safety, quality, and efficiency. Utilize SAP-QM and SPC as analytical tools and apply World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and continuous improvement methods as drivers of loss reduction. Assist Quality Supervision in developing and implementing food safety and quality programs and evaluating customer complaints. Recommend quality and production system improvements to Plant Leadership. Participate on FI teams to solve product/process losses with R&D, Engineering, Production supervisors and operators using SPC, WCM or other problem-solving methods. Provide training to plant operations personnel on quality programs to promote safe and cost-effective production of quality products. Maintain timely, accurate, and complete reporting of routine information to Quality management and other interested parties. Work with product/process development to establish formulation methods that ensure consistent quality. Review new and revised product formulae to ensure compliance with quality standards and ability to meet specifications. Verify the accuracy of in-process formula, specifications, and testing procedures and initiate changes as required. Lead sensory evaluation of in-process materials and finished products and adjust formula as needed to maintain or improve quality due to ingredient or process variations. Perform and document periodic sanitation and safety audits and make recommendations for improvement. Monitor reprocessing and repackaging operations. Actively participate on the plant safety committee and promote Safety, Health and Environmental policies and programs. Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Bio Engineering Minimum of 2 years’ factory experience in QA/QC Familiar with quality/food safety programs including HACCP, SSOP, Integrated Pest Management Computer skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power Apps experience is a plus Preferred
Experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment Experience with FDA cGMP, TPM, WCM, Statistics including SPC and SAP Ability to perform basic microbiological sampling and testing and basic wet chemistry titration Skills

Pay: The pay range is $52,200 to $78,200. Compensation considers experience, qualifications, and organizational needs. Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
