The Standard Missile 3 (SM-3 IIA) team seeks an experienced Senior Material Program Manager to lead a team of Material Program Managers in Tucson, Arizona. This role develops and executes material strategies, manages procurement and logistics, and interfaces with program leadership to achieve program objectives. Responsibilities
Lead a team of Material Program Managers (MPMs) to execute production contracts, procurements, logistics, and supplier management to meet delivery, cost, and quality targets. Develop and execute material strategies to support customer requirements and program objectives in collaboration with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams, Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Procurement. Support supplier negotiations and purchase order placement to meet program cost and schedule objectives. Act as Control Account Manager, managing financial performance, budgets, proposals, and material sales forecasts. Own supplier management processes, including risk/opportunity management, performance metrics, international issues, and make/buy strategy. Resolve conflicts within organizations, between suppliers, and with customers, and communicate crystal clear status updates. Manage quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) and support MRP scheduling and master data requests. Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of relevant supply chain experience; advanced degree preferred. Experience managing program cost and schedule, and procurement processes. Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs). Proficiency with supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis). Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Experience with proposals or material estimating. Benefits
