Job Title : QA Coach Location : Remote (Sacramento, CA-based team) Pay Rate : $70–$75/hr Overview : Insight Global is seeking a QA Coach to support a major initiative within the state of California. This role is critical in leading QA strategy, driving process improvements, and mentoring QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for leading QA efforts across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with a strong technical background and proven experience in coaching and managing QA professionals. Key Responsibilities : Lead and mentor QA teams, ensuring alignment with state QA strategy and performance goals. Conduct automation and manual testing to identify and resolve code issues. Leverage tools and frameworks to streamline QA processes. Drive continuous improvement through metrics-based evaluations and process optimization. Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry best practices. Facilitate training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Define and track KPIs to measure QA effectiveness. Support hiring efforts: conduct interviews, administer Codility tests, and provide candidate feedback. Collaborate with state leadership to refine role descriptions and expectations. Required Skills & Experience : 5+ years in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a leadership role (Manager, Lead, or Coach). Hands-on experience with Selenium and Katalon DevOps/CI-CD tools: Docker, Git, CircleCI Strong understanding of QA methodologies and agile practices. Proven ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and drive results. Excellent communication skills — must be confident, articulate, and a strong cultural fit. Seniority level
