Job Summary and Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. The RN provides services encompassing the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care, prevention of disease, and conservation of health. This position contributes to the mission and core values of CommonSpirit Health.

Follow the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nursing process is ongoing and can end at any stage.

Assessment – Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic approach to collect and analyze data on psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

Plan – Sets measurable and achievable short- and long‑term goals based on the assessment, in collaboration with the consumer and multidisciplinary team.

Job Requirements

Graduate of an RN nursing program

Registered Nurse: NE (RN:NE)

Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS‑CPR)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within five months

Where You'll Work CHI Health Lakeside is West Omaha’s only full‑service hospital. The campus is designed for patients to ensure a comfortable, less stressful stay and features advanced technology. Services include maternity, cancer and surgery care, diagnostics, and emergency services.

Pay Range $36.00 – $52.20 per hour
