Job Summary And Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. The RN provides services that encompass the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care, including prevention of disease and conservation of health.
Follow the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is ongoing and can end at any stage.
Assessment – Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic approach to collecting and analyzing data on psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
Plan – Sets measurable and achievable short- and long-term goals according to standards of care, based on the assessment, in collaboration with the patient and the multidisciplinary team.
Implementation – Executes the care plan appropriately.
Evaluation – Reviews outcomes and adjusts care as needed.
Job Requirements
Graduate of an RN nursing program
Licensed Registered Nurse: NE (RN:NE)
Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS-CPR)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 5 months
