Overview
Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine/PET and the Diagnostic Imaging Center Manager the Nuclear Medicine Technologist shall perform both diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures on selective portions of the anatomy as requested by the clinician in the following age criteria: adolescence 12-18 years, young adults 19-30 years, mature adults 30-45 years, older adults 46-65 years and aging adult 66 and older. Responsible for the receipt, preparation, utilization, and administration of radioactive materials as determined by state and federal laws and department guidelines. Reviews and verifies that the QA performed in unit doses received from outside vendors and equipment meets department and state guidelines. Must contribute to the overall department productivity and operation.
Must be able to work scheduled and on-call hours. Must be available to work in multiple sites/locations, MCC, MMH, MKC, MIP, as appropriate.

Performs a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to apply the proper scan protocols needed to visualize the anatomy in question.
Credentials And Qualifications
Florida state license required - Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
ARRT(N) OR CNMT through NMTCB certification or equivalent required.
Current BLS required.
