Description
The Department of Infectious Disease at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This role provides comprehensive care across general infectious disease services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a special focus on managing patients receiving OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy). The NP will work closely with ID physicians, pharmacists, nursing staff, infusion centers, and home health agencies to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care for patients during hospitalization and as they transition to the outpatient setting. Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing Completion of an ANA‑approved Nurse Practitioner program with national certification. Louisiana licensure to practice professional nursing plus recognition or licensure by the State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the date of hire. One year of full‑time professional clinical nurse experience. Experience in infectious diseases, hospital medicine, or critical care preferred. Application Instructions
