RN Mother/Baby Nights at AdventHealth Mansfield, TX (Texas Health Hospital Mansfield – AdventHealth joint venture). Full-time Nights (7:00pm - 7:00am). Location: 2300 Lone Star Road, Mansfield, TX 76063. Join a family of caregivers focused on whole-person health and committed to making communities healthier. The role involves providing holistic care that extends to spiritual support. Chaplains are available 24/7 for patients, families and team members. Responsibilities
Coordinate care and services for selected patient populations across the continuum of illness. Promote effective utilization of and monitor health care resources. Provide input to the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. Adhere to and follow the goals, philosophy, policies, standards and guidelines of Texas Health Mansfield. Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans with a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with patients and families. Act as liaison to post-hospital care providers and community health resources. Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ goals, biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs. Document patient care accurately (drugs, allergies, labs, diagnostics, education). Manage patient transitions through the system and transfer accountability on discharge. Attend practice group meetings and participate in regular peer reviews. Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations according to protocol. Utilize management skills to supervise, evaluate, and review patient care activities, ensuring quality care and nursing standards. Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing. Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas, or in a qualifying compact state. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP). Experience: Nursing experience as required by facility policies.
